Jeanette Lee - The Black Widow

I was courtside when she leaned into the shot — dead calm, dead focused, the room holding its breath right along with her. This is the woman who clawed her way to #1 in a game that wasn't built for her, the first woman ever to top the men's rankings, earning the name 'Black Widow' for how coolly she closed out a match. That night, under the blue-felt glow of the bar lights, I watched that same lethal calm take over the table — and I knew I had the shot I'd been chasing.
